Red and Orange platters

ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK

For this platter, Tina wanted to commemorate the would-be 50th anniversary of her parents’ wedding. With her father and brother passing away within a short time frame, Tina thought the special touch of being in colours of their favourite football team, Sydney’s Wests Tigers, would be a bit of fun.

Main details have the uncommon touch of being clearly visible, celebrating the event, dates, and names of all their children, which are also highlighted with gold.

With extra details like the 2014 captain, premiership-winning years and the names of the teams before the Wests’ merger in 1999, there’s something new to see every time.

I SEE RED, I SEE RED, I SEE R-E-E-D

The original fundraiser platter, this theme was done in the school colours, included 27 names, 10 stars, school mascot (dolphin), school initials (THRS), class name (PK1), the name of the fundraiser (Festival of Friends) and the year (2011). Phew!

This platter was matched by the dark blue and gold serving platter shown here, both of which were sent to Texas, USA.
